Serious Street [SS]
"Claw"
Baer's entry-level system. Offering weight savings in addition to dramatic performance enhancements over
most OE muscle car brake systems, "SS" system are popular for cars that run on both the street and the strip. SS
systems feature a 11" diameter x .810" directionally ventilated rotor and two-piston PBR aluminum calipers.
SS packages can be used with some 14" and most 15" or larger wheels.

Sport
"Claw"
Fitting most of the same wheels as SS systems, SPORT versions feature a heavy-duty 12" x
1.1" thick directionally ventilated rotor. SPORT systems also feature the newer pressure cast Baer logo version
of the aluminum PBR caliper and are the legal specification for SCCA A-Sedan competition. SPORT systems are
essentially identical in every respect except rotor diameter to TRACK systems. The Sport packages can be used with
some 15" and most 16" or larger wheels.

Baer's most popular system. Track systems feature 13"x1.1 rotors and PBR two-piston calipers
to produce solid performance at a reasonable price. Its exceptional modulation, performance, and race-proven
durability make it an ideal street or track system whenever wheel clearance allows. The Sport packages can be used
with some 16" and most 17" or larger wheels.

Grand Touring [GT]
"Claw"
GT systems employ a new design PBR pressure cast with a substantially greater pad volume. It
also accepts rotors of up to 1.25" thick. GT systems are ideal for use on vehicles where increased braking
performance is required. The GT package can be used with most 17" or larger wheels.

GRAND TOURING PLUS [GT+]

Utilizing the same caliper as the GT systems, the GT+ feature 13.150" x 1.25"
directional two piece rotors with 6061-T6 billet hats, a weight savings of 5lb per rotor. Serious performance and
strong visuals make GTP systems the choice for upgrading performance as well a cost effective alternative to PRO
systems. This system is ideal for most 17" or larger wheels.

PRO

PRO systems feature Alcon four-piston radial mount calipers built with pistons sized to
allow the vehicle to maintain a traditional single, 2 port master and booster arrangements. Unless otherwise listed,
most PRO systems do not feature a park mechanism. Some systems are built with a 13.25 x .810" directionally
ventilated rotor, while most are built with an Alcon 13.5" (optionally 14" or 14.85") rotor.
17" wheels or larger are usually required to run a PRO system.

PRO PLUS

Similar to PRO systems, PRO PLUS feature Alcon four-piston radial mount
calipers built with pistons sized to allow the vehicle to maintain a traditional single, 2 port master and
booster arrangements. Unless otherwise listed, most PRO systems do not feature a park mechanism. Some systems are
built with a 13.25 x .810" directionally ventilated rotor, while most are built with an Alcon 13.5"
(optionally 14" or 14.85") rotor. As with other Baer Brake System, the PLUS indicates a two piece rotor that
results in a weight savings of up to 5lbs. 17" wheels or larger are usually required to run a PRO
PLUS system.

EXTREME PLUS

The EXTREME+ calipers are derived from those currently used in the Trans Am race series. These
6-piston, staggered bore, radial mount calipers are cast as a solid unit providing unparalleled stability. When
coupled with two-piece rotors, this system provides absolutely the shortest stopping distances and best
repeatability currently available. Although they may have been derived from race calipers, they have full dust and
weather seals as do all proper road-going calipers. 18" wheels or larger are usually required.
