In 2004 WMS turned its dyno and tuning operations over to our long time Customer Matthew Puzey. His company Tecmotion has purchased a new Mustang MD600 Dyno and is using our software for custom chips and tuning. Matthew's degree in computer science and years of experience with Mustangs gives him the background necessary to be a successful tuner. He has proven to be great addition to our team and follows our tradition of excellent customer service.

The Mustang MD600 dyno is a true loading dyno, because it uses an inertia weight as well as an eddy current motor that is attached to the rollers. The real benefit from the loading dyno is the ability to maintain a load that allows us to properly go through a fuel map or ignition map and tune the chip for optimum horsepower and torque. The only drawback to a loading dyno, is that they will show lower numbers than that of a inertia dyno (dynojet).

Full datalogging of Wideband O2, boost , fuel pressure, computer etc. allows us to monitor and record vital information that aids us in tuning your vehicle.

Custom Chip Tuning

WMS was one of the first and only Canadian Autologic Tuners using Mike Wesley's Autologic chips and Chipmaster Software. Since then tuning software has evolved considerably and we now use three systems - the original Autologic Chipmaster, Pro-M Shop Editor and Diablosport Revolution software. Each system has its own advantage and we use the system that is best for your application.

For the newer EEC-V cars and trucks we often use the Diablosport system with the Predator Flash tuner, this handheld tuner is much more powerful than a chip and allows us to load a custom program into your computer. You can load a stock program back in anytime or make small changes to your program. The Predator also functions as a datalogger, code reader and can accept custom tunes through the internet.

The custom chip software allows us to control and modify most of the EEC program to find hidden power and increase your vehicle's driveability. The custom chips are an excellent addition to a street car with the usual bolt ons and a must for highly modified forced induction cars.

WMS can custom burn a program that will allow your vehicle to reach it's peak performance. We also offer full system tuning on vehicles equipped with our industry leading digital fuel injection system, SDS. This is a major advantage to you, as having a sheet with a fancy graph is nice, but having your car run faster and stronger is a better use of your money.

  • Change the Idle RPM to fix idle surging.
  • Change the RPM Limiter.
  • Fix Cold Startup Problems.
  • Revise the timing curve for naturally aspirated, boost or nos.
  • Change MAF meter curves.
  • Change Injector Size to work with any MAF meter.
  • Change Engine size to fix idle & part throttle problems in strokers.
  • Change WOT fuel curve for increased performance.
  • Change Part Throttle fuel tables for better driveability.
  • Remove Speed Limiters.
  • Turn on the electric fans sooner for better cooling.
  • Change the shift firmness on automatics, no shift kits are needed.
  • Change the shift rpm's on automatics.
  • Fix fault code when off road exhaust is used.
  • Change speedo calibration for gears or tires.
