Our latest addition to The Project Files at WMS! This '93 Coupe is awaiting a major transplant from its stock 302 to an '01 Cobra motor. Bassani mid-length headers will also be added to the current set-up of Bassani X-Pipe and Quiet Thunder cat-back.

We will also be equpping this car with our SDS DFI system to ensure that it runs perfect with it's new power plant.

This coupe has already recieved a major suspension and brake upgrade from us which included complete HAL coil over kits on every corner, BAER 13" front brakes and 12" rears plus a 5 lug conversion. Wrapped around the huge BAER brakes are replica 2000 Cobra R 18x9" wheels with Kumho 712's.

PROJECT: Lethal Transplant

PROJECT: Jungle Snake
This '01 Cobra was brought to us after the customer ran a little too much boost on his stock block, the results for fatal for his motor. We have decided to put a new '03 Cobra motor in to take advantage of it's increased strength and greater power handling.

The ATI Procharger will be retained on the new motor and a smaller pulley will be used to achieve our 10lb goal. Full Bassani exhaust will also be added to the new set-up as well as a complete interior Billet Aluminum kit.

When topless, this vert sports a Saleen speedster cover and the CDC light bar is revealed, making it hard to miss on the road.

WMS has laid their hands on a brand new 2003 Cobra!!

Customers in the US have been fortunate enough to have '03 Cobras for a few months now, but up here in Canada they have just been released. This is why the production on our new '03 Cobra Velocity Tube has been delayed. The arrival of this '03 Cobra at our doorstep is like an early Christmas present.

The new Cobra is much anticipated with it's roots-style supercharger, 6-speed transmission, upgraded IRS, interior refinishing and upgraded exterior styling; which includes a new 17x9" wheel. We are really impressed with the new modifications that Ford has made to this car and feel it is one of the best that they have produced.

Our main purpose for dynoing this new Snake was to test our new '03 Cobra 4" Velocity Tube; the results were more than what we expected. It seems the stock '03 Cobra lower intake tube is restricting the car from attaining it's full potential.

The baseline test in factory trim made 340.5hp; with our Velocity Tube installed, our '03 Cobra tested in at 362.6hp a gain of 22HP...at the rear wheels! Our test was conducted on our MD250 Mustang Dynamometer, which is a loading dyno and not to be confused with a non-loading DynoJet.

With these test results, we will begin full production of the new 4" Velocity Tubes for the '03 Cobras, they will tentatively ship before the end of October. Stay tuned to wmsracing.com for full information on the production of these tubes.
