System Features
• All digital circuitry and surfrace mount technolgy for the most compact all in one controller / display on the market. Size is 2.4" x 1.7", weight is under 3oz.
• Large LED display is easy to read when dash mounted and provides excellent real time monitoring of AFR. This allows easy monitoring without connecting the datalogging.
• Accuracy to 1% , the inherent accuracy of the sensor itself.
• Uses the 2 wire calibration resistor built into the sensors by Bosch, this is a much moreaccurate method of calibration than the free air method others use.
• Datalogging software and cable is included with system. This allows datalogging and analysis of the data on a laptop with virtually unlimited amounts of data that can be stored.
• Datalogs rpm as well as AFR, can accept rpm signal from most tach signals, igntion boxes, stock coil pack or coil on plug ignition system. RPM input can be calibrated with our software.
• 0-5 volt output works with most aftermarket fuel injection systems or dataloggers
• 0-1 volt signal for OEM computers, emulates the stock narrow band O2 sensor. This allows you to remove the stock O2 sensor and replace with the Wideband sensor for easy installation.
• Works with EFI or Carbureted appications.
• Excellent tool for monitoring AFR on engine and chassis dynamometers.
• Very easy installation - the main harness plugs into the controller / display and the sensor with only a power and ground wire to connect to function.
Each WMS Wideband O2 Sensor system comes with the following, click for details.
WMS Wideband controller / display
Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor
Main wiring harness - controller to sensor
RPM input, 0-1 volt output and 0-5 volt output wiring
Datalogging cable and software
Bosch technical information states the useful service life of the Bosch sensor itself is 100,000 miles or 10 years. Leaded fuel is not recommended with any O2 sensor and will severly shorten the life of the sensor, lead content of .6 g/l drops life to 15,000 miles.
