Solid steering shaft assembly for installing a 1994-2004 SN95 power steering rack in a 1979-1993 Mustang. This Maximum Motorsports shaft replaces the factory rag joint and upper pin-and-block joint with welded needle-bearing U-joints and a telescoping DD shaft, improving steering response, header clearance, and safety while providing the proper length and clocking for an SN95 rack in a Fox chassis.

• Fits 1979-1993 Mustang using a 1994-2004 Ford SN95 power steering rack
• Fits stock Ford power steering rack (does not fit Flaming River power steering rack)
• Hybrid shaft design allows installation of a 1994-2004 power steering rack in a Fox Mustang
• Improves steering response by eliminating deflection from the stock rubber rag joint
• Reduces play felt at the steering wheel
• Race-quality needle-bearing U-joints welded to the shaft (no setscrews to loosen)
• Telescoping DD shaft accommodates different steering rack positions and can extend up to approximately 1.1in longer than stock
• Collapsible center section adds a safety collapse zone between rack and firewall
• Upper shaft design maintains proper steering wheel clocking with SN95 rack geometry
• Attaches to SN95 rack with an OEM-style pinch-bolt clamp instead of a setscrew
• Provides improved header clearance at the lower U-joint
