This simple upgrade makes a remarkable difference in clutch pedal feel allowing much smoother engagement. The stock spring is 185lb and causes a vague pedal feel. Removal of the spring does help but pedal effort is pretty high for street driving and the pedal does not fully return. Steeda's solution of a 35lb assist spring gives you great pedal feel, nice effort and keeps the pedal returned to the stock position. Easy install takes only a few minutes.
